(Below) Bailey Riekkineh from the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless (LICH) accepted a donation from the Club. Bailey explained that there are over 3000 homeless, adults and children, who are without shelter on Long Island and that her organization seeks to provide them with food, shelter and necessities. She pointed out that although the number of homeless nationwide has gone up over the past 10 years, numbers on Long Island are going down thanks to her group and others seeking to help.
