We recently presented a $500 donation to H2Empower, helping advance their incredible mission:

“In Ethiopia, H2Empower builds classrooms, provides learning materials for students, trains educators, brings clean water to rural schools and communities, develops libraries, awards scholarships, and develops sustainability projects.”

Pictured is our Club President, Carolyn Dodd, alongside Executive Director, Helen Boxwill. Also included are inspiring before-and-after photos of a classroom now equipped with chairs, along with a sample of books that are helping to promote literacy and open doors for students.

Today, the Amityville Rotary Club delivered birthday cake and party kits to the St. Martin of Tours Outreach Food Pantry, helping ensure that children and families facing food insecurity can still experience the joy of being celebrated on their special day.

These simple kits mean so much more than cake—they offer hope, dignity, and a reminder that someone in the community cares. This is Rotary’s commitment in action: bringing joy, compassion, and kindness to those who need it most.
