Gift of Life International began in 1975 in the Manhasset Rotary Club. At that time 93% of all babies in 3rd world countries who were born with heart defects died. GoL now operates in 80 countries on 5 continents! It is now the largest organization in the world dealing with children with heart issues. *Currently, In countries where GoL operates less than 1% of children born with heart defects die. Every 99 minutes a child is saved by GoL’s ALL-VOUNTEER TEAMS. *Our donation (earned at our annual Gift of Life Gala) will go to Bangladesh where GoL has started setting up teams.
