As part of our community service projects Club members decided to lend support to an animal rescue organization. On January 17th, which would have been Betty White's 100th birthday (sadly, Betty, a lifelong champion of needy animals, died on January 2nd) we joined a Nation-wide effort to honor her memory by donating $5 per member to Last Chance Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation in Wantagh.
