Rotary Foundation Luncheon
The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. For many years it has been named among the top few charities worldwide by Charity Navigator, thereby being recognized for its accomplishments and well-managed use of donated funds.
Amityville Rotarians Ming Chiang, Jo Pettit, Carolyn Dodd and Donna Matone attended the annual Foundation held in Garden City on November 13th. The emphasis of this year's event was Global Grants through which a club may partner to accomplish a major project.
This year the Amityville Club has partnered with the Rotary Club of Taiwan and we are in the process of obtaining a grant to equip a much needed physical therapy facility in Taiwan.
